School of Ministry

To train & empower reliable, proven men and women for ministry through strong biblical knowledge and practical ministry application.

The Word of Life School of Ministry is a two-year program designed to help each student prepare for the specific call of God upon their life. Each course will be a part of the foundation upon which the student will be able to build on for the future to which God has called them to. Although this school is specifically designed for those who sense a call to full-time ministry, it will also benefit anyone who wants to grow in their knowledge of the Word and their walk with God. The person desiring to prepare for ministry will want to commit to the two-year program whereas, the person wanting to grow in their personal knowledge can choose the specific classes they are interested in. The school will emphasize both classroom instruction and practical hands-on training in many aspects of ministry.

NEW Class Description for the School of Ministry

 2nd Quarter 2017

The Mind of the Spirit, Paul’s Approach to Transformed Thinking

Taught by Dr. Sandy Hipple
Session 1, 7:00 PM

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”
(Romans 12 :2, NIV).

Paul urges believers to focus on Christ and Christ’s role in the believer’s transformation. This class will study Paul’s theology and practical instruction to believers, who as a result of being in Christ, are now called to cultivate the mind of faith, the mind of the Spirit, a renewed mind, the mind of Christ and the heavenly mind. Paul’s words will inform and invigorate our understanding of these very important truths as we study passages of his writings in the New Testament books of Romans, 1 Corinthians, Philippians, and Colossians.

The Names of God

Taught by Lisa Dragan
Session 1, 7:00 PM

God is the great I Am. He says that “everything you need I Am!” Learning the meanings of the many names of God will give you a better understanding of Who He is and what He has promised to be in your life. The more you come to know Him the more you will put your trust in Him to take care of you and all the issues of life. You will learn what the names “I Am”, Jehovah, Adonai, and Elohim mean for your life. You don’t want to miss this class as it will help you to walk closer with the great I Am!

The Four Gospels of Jesus Christ

Taught by Pastor Mike Dragan
Session 2, 8:10 PM

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abudantly”
(John 10:10, NKJV).

God has given us the Gospel of Christ from four different perspectives – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  Each writer was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write their Gospel in a particular way to different audiences.  We will explore the similarities and differences in these books and yet discover their amazing unity.  We will also look at some of the most important teachings in the Gospels. Taking this class will help you to discover powerful teachings that will empower you to live your Christian life with victory and power!
