Dr. Mark T. Bagwell began his full time ministry in 1970 as he traveled across this world. His ministry, through evangelistic crusades, conferences, and seminars has taken him across the United States and into several foreign countries as an evangelist.  He has literally touched hundreds of thousands of lives across this world with a bold, un-compromising message, with signs following.  Pastors throughout the world solicit his ministry because of its balance of pastoral and evangelistic experience.  He has currently authored four books, Possessing Your Prophetic Promise, Empowered for the Call, When I See the Blood, and Empowered for Life.

In 1978, Dr. Bagwell founded Word of Life Church in Kokomo, Indiana.  Beginning with only 12 adults and a handful of children, in just a few short years, Word of Life Church grew into the largest non-denominational church in the city.

After the retirement of Pastor Bagwell’s father, Rev. H.R. Bagwell, in 1985, Pastor and Gayla Bagwell relocated to Denver to become the Senior Pastor of Faith Temple.  Pastor Bagwell moved the church to the corner of Cherry and Iowa in Glendale and re-named it Word of Life Outreach Center. Soon this church, too, became an influence within the community.

In just a few short years, Word of Life Outreach Center outgrew its location and in 1990 moved to the corner of Dry Creek and Clarkson Street.  This was a time of great growth, both spiritually and numerically and saw the anointing of God increase on almost a weekly basis.

In the fall of 2000, Word of Life Christian Center moved once again to our current location.  Pastor Bagwell’s desire is for this new tool to become the launching pad of a landmark revival in the metro Denver area.  His goal is to raise up a generation of warriors that will storm the gates of Hell and take back what is rightfully ours!
